And as far as buying into the program, evidently there are quite a few doing it and a lot of recruits are buying what he is selling. You will always have a few players that rebel against a new staff, that is just the way it is. And no matter what you do to try and sell your program to them, they ain't buying......

Doesn't matter who rules the roost in Oakland, Kiffin still sucks as a coach. He's the male version of a drama queen. And, if he don't get his way he pouts like a little girl. I, for one, am glad he's at UT tho...cuz I don't like them either..he fits right in.

All I've heard since Kiffin got to UT is him flapping his gums about how UT's gonna do this and gonna do that...and since they've not done anything, all you hear after games is excuses...not to mention the occasional scape goat that will be kicked off the team to make it seem like Lane is "cleaning up"...he's a joke.

No...at one time I thought he would be a great coach. But, he could be useful, just not as a Head Coach. His character doesn't hold up...and to me he comes off like a cry baby. In the immortal words of the Wolf: "Just because you are a character, doesn't mean you have character."

Warren rebelled against the old staff as well, if he didn't he would have went to UT to start with.You will always have a few players that rebel against a new staff, that is just the way it is.

I don't see anything Kiffin has done wrong. He's creating buzz around his team.
Hell at the press conference announcing his hiring Davis called him "lance". Then he stood up to Davis over Russell. Davis tried firing him after just one year. I mean really, Al Davis is bat**** crazy. It doesn't matter if he used to be a good coach, or a good gm the fact is he sucks something fierce right now.

How can you realistically say that Kiffin is a bad coach? He didn't have long enough in Oakland to accomplish anything, and he's coaching a team w/o a quarterback right now and a roster filled mainly with talent he didn't recruit.

I do not think Kiffin was in the right about the Russell situation, but he has not had time to be proven a bad/good coach yet.
Give him two years then judge him.
